Nowadays internet plays an important role in our life. It could be for socializing, entertainment, work or for any reason.

I remember the time when I used to top up that  1GB/30 days plan for mobile data. It was very hard to manage things like streaming, gaming and downloading. But later on, thanks to Jio, that brought 1.5GB/per day plan at very affordable rate and later all other telecom services started providing the same plan at the same price.

But the amount of time we spend online these days needs even more data than usual. That is why I brought up this simple tip to save a little bit of your data plan that some people may or may not know.

Most of us buy a new phone a forget to turn off these settings in the beginning and later it uses a percentage of our data plan. You all know that most of the apps these days are larger in size, say 500 MB or 1GB and of they auto update, then with limited data plan of 1.5GB/day or 2GB/day could not be sufficient to survive for the day.

So, I'm sharing the steps below to turn off those settings and save a little bit of your daily internet data.

Steps to Turn off Auto-update Apps
Step 1: Open Google Play Store App.

Step 2: Tap on Menu.
Step 3: Tap on Settings.
Step 4: Tap on Auto-update apps.

Step 5: Now select Over Wi-Fi only and then tap Done.
